Privacy Policy
Last updated: May 2026
1. Who we are
Dockr is a product of Flytebit Technologies ("Flytebit", "we", "us", "our"). Our website is https://dockr.flytebit.com. For any privacy-related questions, contact us at privacy@flytebit.com.
2. What data we collect
Account data
When you register, we collect your name, email address, and organization name.
Repository data
When you connect a repository, Dockr accesses your source code solely to generate documentation. Your code is never used to train AI models. Each organisation gets dedicated storage and separate encryption keys - your data never shares infrastructure with another customer. We do not store your raw source code beyond what is required to generate and serve your documentation.
Usage data
We collect usage information (pages visited, features used, credits consumed) to operate and improve the service. This data is processed by Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, LinkedIn Insight Tag, and Bing UET, each governed by their own privacy policies.
Billing data
Payment information is processed by our payment provider and is not stored on Flytebit servers.
3. How we use your data
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Dockr service
- To generate and serve documentation from your connected repositories
- To send transactional emails (account notifications, credit alerts, team updates)
- To improve the service through aggregate usage analytics
- To comply with legal obligations
4. Data sharing
We do not sell your data. We share data only with:
- Service providers who process data on our behalf (hosting, payment processing, analytics) under data processing agreements
- Law enforcement when legally required
5. Data retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Documentation generated from your code is retained while your subscription is active. After account deletion, we delete your data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
Portal access: Dockr requires an active subscription. A 7-day grace period applies after non-payment before access is restricted. We recommend exporting any needed information before cancelling, as data export functionality is not currently available - all documentation is accessible via the web portal only.
6. Security
We implement encryption at rest and in transit via TLS 1.3, CSRF protection on all endpoints, comprehensive audit logging, and storage-level data isolation between organisations. Enterprise customers may deploy Dockr in their own private cloud infrastructure so code never leaves their secure environment.
7. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@flytebit.com. We aim to respond within 30 days.
8. Cookies
We use cookies for authentication, analytics (Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity), and advertising measurement (LinkedIn Insight Tag, Bing UET). You may disable non-essential cookies in your browser settings.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
